Abstract Limitations

  • The condensed meeting format necessitates a limit of one abstract per presenting author. Although the number of abstracts accepted for this meeting will be limited, the intent is for the meeting to be a highly rewarding experience for attendees who do not submit an abstract.
  • Some sessions are not accepting submissions including Panels, Webinars, and other sessions as noted in the session chart. Please do not enter submissions for these sessions unless you have been invited by the session organizers.
  • Some sessions are exclusively for students and/or early career acousticians and some will give preference to submissions from these categories of submitters as noted on the session chart. Please read the session descriptions carefully and submit only to those sessions in which you are eligible to participate.
  • The limited number and duration of technical sessions will require the Technical Program Organizers to be highly selective in accepting abstracts.
  • Technical sessions may also prioritize opportunities for attracting attendees who, for any reason, do not usually attend ASA meetings.

Technical Program and Technical Sessions

Technical Sessions

The sessions described below are planned for the meeting. Some sessions are open for invited submissions only. Please do not submit abstracts for presentation in these sessions unless you have been invited by the organizers. Authors of all other abstracts must select a specific session in which to participate.

The limited number and duration of sessions will require the Technical Program Organizers to be highly selective. Abstracts will be rejected if they do not comply with the abstract submission guidelines and submission instructions.
