Part-Time, Independent Contractor Position

Location:  Remote position

The Acoustical Society of America (ASA) is seeking a Director of Standards to lead the ASA’s Standards Technical Program. This part-time, independent-contractor position will provide the candidate with the opportunity to promote and champion the Standards technical program with a highly visible and influential voice as a leader with a key role in driving the future of standards in acoustics.

Serving as Chair of the Acoustical Society of America Committee on Standards (ASACOS) and the ASACOS Steering Committee, as an ex-officio member of the ASA Executive Council, the Standards Director will also participate in Executive Council activities at biannual ASA meetings on matters related to Standards and other business activities related to ASA operations.
