Assistant / Associate Professor – tenure track position – Hearing Science:
The Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences in the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center in Nashville, TN is seeking to fill a 12-month tenure track faculty position. The search committee is interested in applicants who have an established record of programmatic research and / or the strong potential to develop an extramurally funded program of research in hearing science with an emphasis in spatial hearing, psychoacoustics, or auditory neuroscience. Responsibilities include developing a program of extramurally funded research, teaching at the graduate level, and mentoring graduate student research (PhD and AUD). Opportunities for collaboration are available with other Vanderbilt Programs including Neurosciences, Otolaryngology, Engineering, Data Science, as well as the Vanderbilt Brain Institute, Vanderbilt Institute for Imaging Science, Vanderbilt Genetics Institute, and Vanderbilt Kennedy Center. Vanderbilt’s Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences is CAA accredited and its graduate programs are highly ranked by US News & World report.
