The University of Mississippi's National Center for Physical Acoustics is seeking a Senior Research Scientist II to develop program requirements, design physical acoustic experiments, and develop signal processing algorithms for acoustic data.  There is an emphasis on advanced methods for processing of data from acoustic arrays.  PhD required in Physics or Engineering plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Senior Scientist or in a position with similar duties and requirements, and experience with leading small, externally-funded research groups is desirable.
