Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH) invites applications for an open-rank, research scientist position within the Center for Hearing Research. Investigators with a strong publication record and an interest in spatial hearing and/or audiovisual integration are particularly encouraged to apply. Scientists at BTNRH are full-time researchers with no teaching or administrative responsibilities, and have the advantages of working alongside an outstanding, internationally recognized group of colleagues. In addition to the Center for Hearing Research, collaborations are possible with the Centers for Audiological and Vestibular Services, S Save & Exit ensory Neuroscience Research, Neurobehavioral Research, and Childhood Deafness, Language and Learning.
Collaborations are also possible with scientists at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University School of Medicine, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and University of Nebraska-Omaha. BTNRH provides a generous package of start-up funds for scientists when they join our research group.
The selected applicant will have access to a state-of-the art Auditory-Visual Core Facility, and are expected to work closely with the talented team of engineers and software developers to advance technological innovation at BTNRH.
