Streaming Broadcast Fall 2016

Acoustical Society of America
172nd Meeting – Honolulu, HI

The Acoustical Society of America (ASA) is again facilitating remote participation by members in some technical sessions and committee meetings to be held at the upcoming Honolulu meeting (28 Nov. - 2 Dec.). A number of papers in the special sessions listed below will be broadcast in real-time over the internet using GoToWebinar. The detailed listing of talks available for live broadcast will be updated, closer to the meeting dates; refer to the itinerary planner for abstracts of the talks.

Certain talks will also be available to registered participants for limited viewing after the meeting, if agreed upon by the authors.  Participants will receive a link to the available recordings from their registered session with more information during the week after the meeting.

ASA is offering this service specifically for members who are unable to attend the meeting in person, thereby broadening access to meeting content. If you are unable to attend these sessions in person, you can now watch the live presentations and ask questions through a Q&A feature over the internet from any location. Simply register for each session of interest by clicking the associated internet link shown, and a web access link will be sent to you for that session by e-mail immediately after you register from which you can access the live broadcast.

During this piloting phase, there is no cost to ASA members to register. Registration for each session is available up until the start of that session.

Please note that photography, audio, and video recordings of ASA sessions are strictly prohibited, whether in person or over the internet.

Note that live feed will pause for presentations that will not be broadcast and for session breaks.
