ASA cosponsors a Congressional Science and Engineering Fellowship with the American Institute of Physics, which enables a scientist or engineer to contribute to the legislative process.  Acoustical scientists and engineers at all career stages, including mid- and late-career professionals, are invited to apply. Program benefits include a stipend, professional travel support, relocation allowance, and health insurance premium reimbursement.  The application deadline is January 15, 2016.

At its bi-annual meeting in Jacksonville Florida this week, the Acoustical Society of America approved the Strategic Leadership for the Future Plan.
